Hard filters for “hands-free” casting systems

Our HT Combo Bags (High Thermofixed Combo Bags) are also used for the filtration of liquid aluminium during continuous casting.

As a hard and dimensionally stable filter system, they are immediately ready for use. This effect is particularly advantageous for casting processes in “hands-free” systems.

Similar to our standard combo bags, they offer reliable protection against contamination and even distribution of the aluminium.
Thus they guarantee a bubble-free ingot and thus the best possible quality for further processing, e.g. in the production of aluminium foil or cans.

The dimensional stability of the hard filters also protects the foundry workers, as the HT Combo Bags do not have to be manually formed again after sprueing. The process is much safer and more efficient.
